Harper and Hunter's Grammy Eccles came to visit us this past weekend, and we had such fun with her.  We took advantage of the beautiful weather, making frequent trips to the park, a road trip up to Maine to check out the outlets, and even a field trip to the aquarium.  While Harper has not been the biggest fan of animals in the past, the aquarium, as it turns out, is pretty much the ideal animal habitat for Harper, as there are thick panes of glass separating Harper from the marine life.  This made her feel safe and ignited her curiosity!  Believe it or not, she grew so comfortable that she even enjoyed touching the starfish and looking at the rays in the tidal pool area.  Yay!  Do we have a future marine biologist on our hands?

Grammy Eccles also made a very important introduction for Harper: the movie Frozen. We had a family movie night, complete with popcorn, and Harper has been singing, "Do you want to build a snowman?" ever since.

We were so sad to say goodbye to Grammy at the end of the weekend, and we are already looking forward to the summer, when we will see her again for our family's vacation to the Outer Banks.
